It was at North Shields Pond here in Fort Collins that I spotted this little jewel. The clear voice of the Yellowthroat gave away his location, easily heard above the springtime din of Red-winged Blackbirds…. “Witchity-witchity-witchity”.His brilliant yellow and black were a nice highlight on the otherwise neutral backdrop of cattails.
